The farming industry turned out in its thousands for another impressive UK Dairy Day on Wednesday 16th September. Along with farmers putting plans in place for the imminent winter weather, the Graham Heath Construction team embraced the autumnal weather, helped by layers of branded jackets, fleeces and hats… Well, those that were left after being raided by people desperate to get their hands on one!
The show was a massive success for our team, with many customers visiting us on the stand to place additional orders or new ones eagerly going through design and plan options to create buildings with us for the first time. With recent reports showing that we are in for a fairly fierce winter, our fantastic Livestock building offer is proving to be a massive success. Reacting quickly to what is predicted to be the worst winter on record, we have dropped the price of our 100ft x 40ft x 15ft Livestock Special Building to £17,000!
Amongst other uses, the Livestock special building is ideal for dividing in two and having half for livestock and the remainder for machinery. The severe weather means machinery may get damaged if kept outside, so storing it inside will ensure that during the tough winter months it will be reliable when needed. We also came away with many enquiries for bespoke buildings for a variety of livestock needs, from general livestock buildings to specific builds such as robotic milking palours, sheep and chicken sheds.
In addition to this, there was also a huge surge in interest for our premium quality steel framed equestrian buildings, including; stables and arenas, as well as our traditional and modern stables, which we are able to design and build ourselves.
The show itself offered a fascinating day out, with an amazing display of support from the Dairy Industry, with everything from hoof clipping machines to some of the latest milking technology, products and some very patient cows! We were extremely proud to be a part of it and to continue to support the UK Dairy Industry in any way that we can.
